Jim Bowie

In graphic novel format, provides both factual and legendary information about the life of frontiersman Jim Bowie, who spent much of his young adult life engaged in illegal pursuits. Bowie died a legend and a hero, however, after joining Texas' fight against Mexico and dying while helping to defend the Alamo in 1836.
