This book looks at the roots of World War 2 and presents a chronological examination of what happened at its beginning. It offers readers an accessible summary of the history ad its players -and tells the history from the perspective of soldiers, generals, nurses, politicians and civilians and as well as presenting the culture through artworks, primary sources and the memoirs of its players.
