The armies of the night

The author reports on his participation in a Vietnam War protest that took place in Washington D.C. on October 21, 1967, where he was part of a crowd estimated at anywhere from 20,000 to 200,000 made up of people from all walks of life and hovered over by helicopters and armed soldiers.
