Chronic city

Chase Insteadman, a former child star who supports his active Manhattan social life with residual income from a sitcom on which he worked whose scientist-astronaut fianc? is stuck in space, is befriended by a marijuana-smoking pop critic who enlists Chase's help in unearthing the answers to several questions he has about truth and reality.
