The last of the Mohicans

An easy reading version of the adventure story of the French and Indian War, in which Hawkeye and his two friends, the last of the Mohican braves, struggle against the evil Huron, Uncan, to protect two English girls and their escorts. The action centers around the battle for Fort William Henry near Lake Champlain.
