When seventh-grader Chris Marks' conscience makes him decide to break "The Code" that says you never, ever snitch, he is surprised to find out that the bully he tells on, Phil Hartz, is actually kind of cool. But, when Phil asks him to do something wrong, Chris decides it is time to break the code--forever.
