When his family comes to live in Israel after the end of World War II, a young boy begins planting and caring for trees, a practice that spreads across the whole country.
Tiny Toby Lolness, a member of a civilization of people no taller than two millimeters who live in an enormous oak known as the Tree, embarks on a quest to save himself, his family, and the Tree when corporate interests threaten to destroy them all.
