kansan Jeff Bussey participatesin the Civil War and comes into contact with the notorious Stand Watie, who leads Cherokee raiding parties in their acts of devistation and destruction resulting in added hardship and starvation for Union troops.
Tells the story of Pedro Pavon, a Spanish nobleman, who was held captive by Comanche Indians. This fictional creation was inspired by the true story of a nine-year-old Mexican boy who was abducted in 1810 by a Comanche raiding party, and for the next nineteen years was raised as a Comanche.
