Chronicles of ancient darkness

Cast out of the Raven clan, Torak heads to the reedbeds at Lake Axehead, where he is hunted by the hidden people and he must do battle with an ancient evil.

When a deadly illness begins to afflict the clans, twelve-year-old Torak, with help from Renn and Wolf, embarks on a journey to find a cure.

Torak, having sworn to avenge the killing of one of his closest friends, braves the hidden valleys of the Deep Forest, where the clans have reverted to the savagery of earlier times, and gains insight into why he is the Spirit Walker and the true cost of revenge.

To fulfill his destiny, Torak must defy demons and tokoroths, navigate through the Gorge of the Hidden People, and battle the evil Eagle Owl Mage.
