Komi has beaten Kawai in the battle for Tadano's heart at study camp. But Komi feels bad for Kawai when she sees how lost she is now. Komi wonders if Kawai could be a new friend instead of a rival.

Going to the summer festival together will give Tadano and Komi the chance at a classic date, a traditional rite of passage for romantic couples. Then, bad luck and even worse weather strike to turn their date sour.

With one last-minute goal, Isagi has proven his worth to the team, earning his teammates' respect. However, Isagi must now master his "reflexive thinking" skill if he is to get through the rest of the trials and earn a spot on the Blue Lock Eleven team.

The rematch between the Top Three begins, and Isagi is determined to defeat Rin Itoshi and steal back Bachira, but Rin has the same power as him and knows how to use it differently. Later, Bachira comes to a shocking realization.

Isagi races against the clock to create a masterful play but Rin Itoshi and some bad luck stop him. Then Ego offers advice to advancing players because the Third Selection is close.

Isagi and Team Z has made it past the first selection round, but they are split up to face the second selection round individually. There, they face off against Blue Lock Man, a cutting-edge goal-keeping AI system.

Isagi, Barou, and Nagi have formed their new team and are off to their next rivalry match, this time facing Reo, Kunigami, and Chigiri. However, Isagi knows they will lose the game--unless they can achieve what Isagi thinks of as a "chemical reaction" with their three different play styles.

After Barou's awakening, Isagi's team beats Kunigami, Chigiri, and Reo. Now they must choose a player to steal and then the four-man team will take on the Top Three and Bachira. Hopefully Isagi's ego can defeat the talented striker Rin Itoshi.

Now in the rivalry battles, where the winning team can select a player from the losing team to join them, Isagi and Nagi lose Bachira to Rin Itoshi. They are left alone to take on top scoring player Shouei Barou, and if they lose, they could be disqualified.

Setsuna, Towa, and Moroha--the three teenage daughters of the half-brother demon dogs Sesshomaru and Inuyasha--must find a way to not only save themselves and their parents, but also both the human and demon realms from a terrible menace--the mystical seven Rainbow Pearls.
