While Yoh continues to coach Haruna on how to attract the boys at her school, she finds herself having stronger feelings for him, which violates the only condition Yoh set before agreeing to help her, and when Yoh questions Haruna about why she has begun to act strangely around him, Haruna must decide whether or not to confess her true feelings.

Yoh, having agreed to help Haruna make herself more appealing to boys on the condition that she not fall in love with him, coaches her through her first date with his friend Fumiya, but they discover Fumiya may not have been the right choice when they catch him kissing Yoh's sister.

Yoh, an upperclassman, agrees to help Haruna on her quest to become more attractive to boys on the condition that she does not fall in love with him, but when Haruna sees Yoh with an unattractive girl, she becomes convinced the girl is a threat to their relationship.

Yoh, elected to be a captain for the school sports festival, finds himself instead competing against Asaoka for Haruna's love.

Haruna makes plans for Yoh's birthday that include the two of them on an overnight trip, which may point to a romantic setting in close quarters.

Although they are growing closer as a couple, Yoh and Haruna are jealous when they both draw the attentions of incoming freshmen. Haruna tries to remain strong, but a misunderstanding develops that puts Yoh in a tough spot.

As graduation grows near, Yoh must decide whether to remain with Haruna or go to college in Tokyo.

During the school sports festival, Yoh begins to think that his friend Haruna has feelings for Asaoka, who he is dating and trying to teach about love, and does not know how to react.

Now that she's in high school, Haruna wants to leave behind her softball glove and find her true love, and she gets Yoh to agree to coach her on what makes girls appealing to guys, but only on the condition that she not fall in love with him.
