The friendship between Cork, a muskrat, and Fuzz, a possum, is in trouble when Cork decides that since he is older, he has to be taller than Fuzz.

Short-legged Cork is upset when tall Fuzz wins every game they play, until he learns that their friendship is more important than winning.

In late afternoon the muskrats come out to swim, dive, and eat green water weeds.
