The faint of heart

In a world where technology allows people to have their hearts removed in order to numb all the sadness, anxiety, and anger they have, June is one of the only people she knows who hasn't given up her heart. But when she finds an abandoned heart in a jar in a deserted ally, it leads her to another high schooler named Max. Soon, June starts to wonder if she can use it to bring her sister Maya back, but when she learns that Max's health is failing because of his heart removal, June is forced to make an impossible decision.
