Rudolph the reindeer, who has an unusual nose, is teased by the other reindeer until his unique trait saves Santa's trip on a foggy Christmas Eve.

When Santa Claus comes down with a terrible cold just before Christmas, his animal friends send him to bed, finish all of the presents, and load the sleigh, hoping that he will be well in time to make his deliveries.

After a few false starts, Teeka discovers the best way to get Santa's reindeer ready for Christmas Eve.

In the original poem in which Santa's reindeer were named, Donner and Blitzen were actually spelled Dunder and Blixem. Today known as The Night Before Christmas, the poem from 1823 may be the very beginning of children hearing that Santa's sleigh was pulled by reindeer.

Santa is ready to leave on Christmas Eve, but he can't find the reindeer anywhere. Dasher is busy dashing, Donner is dozing, and Cupid is crooning. It isn't until Santa remembers their annual tradition-reading a Christmas story together-that the reindeer are ready.
