Follows the turbulent relationships of two couples--actress Lulu Meyers and handsome ex-Air Force pilot Sergius O'Shaugnessy, and Charles Eitel, a film director accused of communism, and Elena Esposito--in Desert D'Or, a refuge two hundred miles outside of 1950s Hollywood.
