Noriko and Izark's quiet retreat in the rural region Aibisk is disruped by bounty hunters and a powerful new enemy, and as Noriko and Izark grow closer, Noriko must face the fact that she may have to destroy Izark some day.
On the way home from school, teenage Noriko is transported to a magical but dangerous world, where she is befriended by Izark, a rogue swordsman within whom, unbeknownst to her, an evil lurks that only she can awaken.
