Junior and his friends learn a difficult lesson when they squander all their carnival money trying to win a stuffed dog.

Junior, awakened to the joys of giving when his class collects food for a local orphanage, decides to use the money given to him by his grandmother for his birthday to buy a special gift for Chris, a boy he met at the children's home.
