Ninja friends Cole, Jay, Kai, and Zane try to prepare a reluctant Lloyd, the Green Ninja, to face his father, the evil Lord Garmadon. When Lord Garmadon creates a beast named the Grundle, and turns the ninja into kids again, it's up to Lloyd to save the day. However, in doing so Lloyd magically grows older and closer to his destiny as the Green Ninja.
