Imagine having people bully you because you are "different." Imagine people staring, pointing, whispering, behind your back; thinking you can't understand them. Well, guess what? I do understand. I have had to deal with all of this since I was little, and it's about time other people knew. My name is Lucy, and I'm 16 years old. I have cerebral palsy, and this is my story. Told from the perspective of diary entries, this story tells of the difficulties and struggles a disabled teen has during her quest to be "normal." However, maybe being normal isn't the best thing after all.
