Sith Lord Darth Vader captures Luke Skywalker's friends in order to lure Luke into a trap on Cloud City where Luke is wounded in a lightsaber duel with Vader.
After learning about his family and Darth Vader's past, Luke surrenders to Imperial forces and is brought to Vader, who tries to bring him over to the dark side.
