The members of the Women's Murder Club are thrown into turmoil when one of them is injured in a shooting incident on a crowded ferry, and homicide inspector Lindsay Boxer has her hands full trying to find out who tried to kill her friend while at the same time investigating the kidnappings of children from well-to-do families, along with their nannies.
