Only two children from the town are gifted with a vision of the nutmeg princess, who only comes out when the nutmeg is ready for picking, and her wisdom.
Two children set out to see the Nutmeg Princess who is supposed to appear during the nutmeg picking season on a lake. They eventually get the whole town involved in looking for her on the Isle of Spice in the Caribbean.
