During the 1956 Hungarian Revolution in post-WWII Communist Budapest, Csilla must decide whether to fight for her deeply flawed country or let it burn to the ground after her late parents are unexpectedly, publicly exonerated.

Thirteen-year-old Nelly, a Jewish girl living in Communist Hungary, must give up everything she cares about when her family is forced to flee the country during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, and she wonders if she will ever again find a place to call home.
