Aurelia Kim Murray, a grad student with a passion for fencing and ballet, goes to Europe to investigate her heritage and returns to California as a member of a royal ruling family in Dobrenica, a tiny country in Eastern Europe.
After nursing a broken heart in California, Kim Murray takes sword in hand and returns to the magical country of Dobrenica and encounters ghosts, magic, murder and mystery as she tries to understand all the different faces of love.
Kim grew up in California but knew nothing about her extended family. She knew her grandmother came from Europe but wasn't sure where. A trip to uncover her past changed her life and Kim found out she was a member of one of the royal families of Dobrenica, an obscure European country with some very unusual attributes.
