Many lives ago, a young girl in what would become the Nunavut territory of Canada builds stone men, called Inuksuk, to direct her father and brother home when they are lost in a storm while hunting caribou.
Overweight with acne-prone skin, twelve-year-old Hannah always feels unsure of herself, but when a wooden statue of Jesus goes missing from a cathedral, she discovers a special connection with both the statue and a larger force.
When they discover that one of the thumbs has been broken off the statue in the Lincoln Memorial, KC and Marshall set out to learn what happened and restore the thumb before a ceremony honoring the sculptor.
