Jack Reacher's tour bus crashes and strands him in Bolton, South Dakota, where the local police enlist him to shut down the methamphetamine lab being run by a Mexican drug cartel inside an abandoned military facility on the outskirts of town, and Reacher tries to protect the woman who plans to testify from a proficient assassin.
