Luna appears and challenges Shark to a duel for a new card and a new power. Meanwhile, Yuma and his friends create the Numbers Club to find the Numbers Cards and stop Dr. Faker.

When Yuma realizes the only way to return his brother to normal is to collect one hundreds Numbers Cards, he begins a search that brings him face to face with the dangerous Kaito, a "Numbers Hunter.".

When E'Rah, the deity of despair, declares that she's come to destroy the Astral World, Astral realizes that E'Rah was the one who scattered his memories and chose Yagumo to be her agent. Soon, Yuma, Kaito, Shark, and Astral are caught in an epic duel that will decide their fates.

The duel of Yagumo and Ryoga accidentally opens a door to another world, pulling Yuma and friends inside. There they find that Yagumo has planned to use a black hole to destroy both Earth and the Astral World--and even the combined strength of Yagumo, Ryoga, Kaito, and Yuma might not be able to stop it.

As Kaito and Shark engage in an epic duel with Shadow, they learn some surprising things from the Numbers War--that Astral originally came to destroy the world, and that Dr. Faker is truly dead. In order to figure out the truth they will have to take the fight right to Mr. Heartland.
