High school senior Jaime Reyes, the superhero Blue Beetle, is struggling with finals and a new villain in El Paso when his worlds collide at high school graduation. Now Jaime is grounded by the Justice League so he travels to Palmera City to spend a gap year working in his tias' restaurant. There he encounters the Yellow Beetle and learns how they are connected to the alien civilization, the Reach.

Teenager Jaime Reyes, the newest Blue Beetle, is still getting used to his new superhero life when he learns the aliens responsible for planting the scarab in Jaime's back are preparing to invade Earth and must fight alongside some of the world's greatest superheroes to stop the invasion.

Collects no. 1-6 of the comic "Blue Beetle" in which the Blue Beetle scarab is found by Texas teenager Jaime Reyes, who receives superhero powers from it.

Collects no. 20-26 of the comic "Blue Beetle" which features a story line that ties into Sinestro of Korugar's attempts to create a new corps of villains from across the cosmos; and includes a Spanish language story with an English translation.
