Kurai, the last Princess of Gehenna, agrees to marry Lucifer in exchange for a potion that will revive her beloved Setsuna, but before she can save her friend she must battle her way out of the depths of Hell.

Setsuna returns to Earth to protect his human body and must escape the Angel of Fire, who is willing to fight for Setsuna's soul.

Setsuna and the high angels learn all the secrets of God, and Setsuna tries to prevent Sara, who is possessed by the angel of destruction, from destroying the Tower of Etenamenki.

The battle between the angels and demons reaches the Tower of Etenamenki, where Setsuna, Rosiel, and Sandalphon struggle to reach the Tablet of Heaven--the key to unlimited power--to save the world or destroy it.

High Angel Rosiel's master plan becomes clear as he tries to get Lucifer under his control and invade the highest plane of Heaven, leaving Setsuna and the other angels to try and stop Rosiel before it is too late.

With Rosiel's plan to control Heaven in motion, Uriel meets with Setsuna, Michael, and Raphael to unite the opposition.

During the show-trial, the evil plan of Sevothtarte is revealed and Setsuna leads an assault which uncovers the prime minister's true identity.
