The Treasure Chest

An old coin in the treasure chest transports twins Felix and Maisie to the island of St. Croix in 1772, where they meet seventeen-year-old Alexander Hamilton who is about to embark on a journey to New York.

Felix and Maisie try to save their Great-Uncle Thorne by travelling back in time to Renaissance Italy, where they meet Leonardo da Vinci and dine with the great Medici family.

When they are transported to St. Petersburg, Russia, twins Maisie and Felix meet Anastasia Romanov and experience a world filled with palaces and privilege.

When Maisie and Felix accompany the twins on a trip back through time, they accidentally find themselves in Kansas, with a young girl named Amelia Earhart.

Maisie and Felix join thousands of orphans working on the streets of Victorian London as they search for a young Alexander Graham Bell.

While visiting their father in New York City, Felix and Maisie use a shell she brought from The Treasure Chest to travel to late 1800s Hawaii, where they meet a young girl who will one day be Queen Liliuokalani, the last queen of Hawaii.

Twins Felix and Maisie, along with their Great-Aunt Maisie and Great-Uncle Thorne, are transported back in time to Coney Island where they meet a young Harry Houdini.

After having an argument in the treasure chest room, twins Felix and Maisie are transported to China during the Boxer Rebellion, where they meet a young Pearl Buck who teaches them how to survive as Americans in China.

Felix and Maisie re-enter The Treasure Chest and suddenly find themselves in the midst of a Lakota village, where they meet a young man, soon to be known as Crazy Horse, and embark on an adventure that includes fascinating vision quests and exciting battles.

Twins Felix and Maisie move with their recently-divorced mother into the attic of a historic mansion where they discover secret artifacts,the first of which transports them back in time to the world of Clara Barton.
