Demonstration drawings of a variety of subjects show how the pastels are used and include still lifes of fruit, flowers, and vegetables, a landscape, a fashion drawing, a dog, and tropical fish. The artist also demonstrates how to combine oil pastels with turpentine for opaque drawings and how soft pastels can be used on velour to create effective textural drawings.
