The incorrigible children of Ashton Place

After returning from London, the three Incorrigible children and their governess, Miss Penelope Lumley, resume their normal routine while Penelope continues to uncover information about her past. When a noted explorer's prized ostrich gets lost in the woods, the Incorrigibles lead the search to recover it, but Penelope fears that allowing them to return to the wilderness will cause them to revert to their wolf-like behaviors.

Penelope takes the three incorrigible children to Brighton in hopes of discovering how to end the wolfish curse on the Ashton family before the newest Ashton baby arrives.

Miss Penelope Lumley, governess to the three Incorrigible children who were raised by wolves, is invited to speak at the Swanburne Academy for Poor Bright Females. The academy's board of trustees asks Penelope to demonstrate the academic progress of her three charges to evaluate her Swanburne education and determine the future of the school. Now Penelope's job with the Incorrigibles is at risk.

Fifteen-year-old Miss Penelope Lumley, a governess trained at the Swanburne Academy for Poor Bright Females, takes the three Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place to London, England, and learns they are under a curse.
