Follows the final days of Mordechai Anielewicz, leader of the Jewish Fighting Organization that led the insurrection against Nazi control in Poland during the Holocaust.
Initially excited about the yellow star that he wears, a young Jewish boy discovers that his place in the world has changed and begins to wonder what will become of him after seeing other star-wearers taken away in the dark of the night.
