Luz sees the light / D?vila, Claudia

Luz, worried by blackouts in her neighborhood and her growing awareness of oil shortages and excessive energy use, decides to turn an abandoned lot into a garden and park with the help of her friends.

One minute, Luz and her friends are snacking on chocolate bars and getting rides to the mall. The next, Luz's mom can't afford to gas or groceries, and the city is dimmed by blackouts. Luz sets her heart on transforming her fossil-fueled world. But how much can one twelve-year-old do?.
