In this course students are not engaged primarily in learning about the Catholic faith tradition, but about other religious traditions. For many students this is the first time they have sustained exposure to other religious traditions, especially those of the east. An open mind and heart as well as respect for the "other" is very important for each student to have as they strive to learn as much as they can from this course.
