Stanley Lambchop travels to Africa with his brother, Arthur, and his father, George, in hopes of explaining his flatness through examination of a flat skull that has been discovered, and when they arrive, they find themselves on a safari adventure.

While on vacation in Boston, a tour guide invites Flat Stanley to reenact Paul Revere's famous midnight ride.

After Stanley Lambchop goes flat once again, he uses his flatness to help win a sailboat race and to rescue a classmate from a collapsed building.
