Sully and Mike are monsters who work at Monsters, Inc., a power plant that generates energy for the monster world by frightening human children in their beds. One night, Sully accidentally lets a human girl into the monster world, and Sully and Mike must get her back to her room before any other monsters find out.

WALL-E, a robot left behind to clean up Earth after the humans have left, discovers another robot and the two become friends, but when a spaceship arrives to take his new friend away, WALL-E sets off on an adventure across the galaxy to save her.
