Six and Three make a dangerous break for freedom and take a child with them, and although things don't go as planned, Six believes she has changed the future.

Six tries increasing her powers, and she draws closer to Three against her better judgment. Then something goes wrong at the lab and Six vows to escape.

Six meets Three at Hawkins Lab and remembers him as her neighbor back home. She learns he was always a part of the program and is angry with him for lying to her. Meanwhile, Six voices her fear of the future and is encouraged to take her skills to the next level.

In 1978, a teen girl named Francine has psychic abilities that cause her trouble at home. She is placed in the control of a government agency run by Dr. Brenner that wants to use her powers for its own ends, and renamed Six. There she sees a scary vision of the future.

The Ghostbusters travel out New York City and battle the supernatural across the United States.
