Douglas flees his life of petty crime and drug abuse in Minneapolis to Edinburgh, Scotland, where his Grandma McLaren hopes to offer him a fresh start, but as Douglas earns his living playing music, he learns that Edinburgh hides its own dangers, forcing him to choose between the allure of drugs and the promise of a new life.
