Public radio show producer Shay Goldstein constantly clashes with her new colleague, Dominic Yun, who thinks he knows everything about public radio. To help the station's ratings, Shay suggests a new show called "The Ex Talk" to give relationship advice. Since Shay and Dominic already despise each other, they are chosen as co-hosts. As they pretend to be each other's ex, the ratings grow and so does the deception. Then Shay and Dominic start to fall for one another, and their relationship threatens their reputations and careers.
