Abe Spoke is the young tailor who sews the words "seven in one stroke" on his belt, but neglects to tell the people he meets that it was seven flies, not seven giants--his cleverness (and chutzpah) win him the hand of the princess, but unfortunately he has a bad habit of muttering about cloth and tailoring in his sleep.

Forest Ranger Dan finds a strange baby in a bird's nest and raises him along with his own baby daughter, Cassie; Birdy proves to have magic powers, and the cook at the Dark Woods Station (who is a witch, and makes really horrible food) wants to use him as an ingredient in her latest magic brew--so it is up to Birdy and Cassie to find a way to defeat her, save themselves, and enable the Station to hire a decent cook.

In this humorous adaptation of the fairy tale, Mama Goat sets out to get pizza for little Mikey's birthday party, first warning her seven kids not to fall for Mr. Wolf's tricks; but Mr. Wolf is hungry, clever, and persistent, and when Mama returns and finds six of her babies gone, she sets out to make a citizen's arrest and put a stop to Mr. Wolf's villainy forever.

In this humorous adaptation of the Grimm fairy tale, "lucky" Hans Pumpernickel takes the gold brick which is his payment for seven years of work and heads home, but finding it too heavy to carry he trades it for a horse--and through a series of encounters and trades he ultimately ends up with nothing at all, but remains convinced that he is the luckiest man alive.
