In this sequel to "Crave," Grace wakes up one day after saving her vampire boyfriend Jaxon Vega from an attack by his brother Hudson at Katmere Academy, and learns she has been a stone gargoyle for the last four months. As she tries to put her life back together, she comes to the realization that her mind and body are being controlled--by Hudson. He claims there are secrets Grace doesn't know, and that she must trust him. It turns out that the Vampire Court is trying to get to Grace to protect the Circle, and for Grace to survive--along with everyone else--a great sacrifice must be made.
