Steve Irwin

"Little Steve loved animals, and his childhood was spent amongst Australia's wildlife. As a young boy, his parents started a wildlife refuge and Steve and his sisters helped care for many injured animals. When he was nine, Steve captured his first crocodile, in order to take it to a national park so it could have a safe, happy life. He fell in love with protecting crocodiles and as an adult became known as the crocodile hunter!
