The hideout

Jeremy Holland, on his way to live with his uncle in Chicago after the deaths of his parents, takes advantage of a train wreck to run away; but his plan to spend the summer in a deserted cabin in the woods goes awry when he embarks on a crusade to save local bears from poachers.
