Three famous short novels

A collection of three novellas. "Spotted Horses" is an account of a horse auction and the dispute that arose from it. "Old Man" is the story of a convict and a pregnant woman who end up together during a flood on the lower Mississippi. "The Bear" is the story of a boy coming to terms with the adult world by learning to hunt.
