Tony Blair

Tony Blair made his way through Great Britain's governmental system as a member of Parliament and then as Prime Minister of Great Britain in only 14 years. Representing the Labour Party he advocated modernization, helped negotiate a major peace settlement in Northern Ireland and was a strong leader freeing Kosovo of Slobodan Milosevic. In May 2005 Blair won a record third term as Prime Minister and dealt with London's terrorist bombings.
