Winston Churchill fought World War II twice, first as British Prime Minister during the war, and later as the war's premier historian with his six published volumes of memoirs. This book reveals Churchill the author, focusing on a neglected period of his life, the second wilderness years of 1945-51, when Churchill wrote himself into history and politicked himself back into prime-ministership.
