Triumph and tragedy

This 6-volume set was written by Winston Churchill using a team of advisors and the collection of the documents on which the writing was to be based. He also asked for recollections from those involved. Volume 6 tells the story from the Anglo-American landings in Normandy in June and the unconditional surrender of Japan in September.
