Gifted

Rumi Vasi is 10 years old and gifted. Her parents moved to American from India and her father believes that strict discipline is the key to nurturing her genius. But Rumi just wants to be like everyone else. When she is a teenager, her parents wage a campaign to make her the youngest student ever to attend Oxford University. In the end, dealing with intense family expectations, and her own normal teenage development, brings great conflict to Rumi's life as an intelligent, but naive, girl is thrust into the adult world before she has the time to grow up.
