Nim's island

A storybook adaptation of the 2008 movie "Nim's Island," in which Nim, an imaginative young girl living on a deserted island with her scientist father, sends an SOS to her literary adventure hero, Alex Rover, when her dad disappears at sea, not realizing the extraordinary effort it is going to take for real-life author Alexandra Rover, a sufferer of agoraphobia, to come to the rescue.
